It's not a competition, nor physical race...this is a race to get Washoe County to #SuicideFreeBy2023! Suicide is the leading cause among Washoe County children ages 12-19. HELP SAVE TEEN LIVES LIVES! We need full community support to get ahead of this crisis! Forever14, Project Discovery, and Sky Tavern are hosting a fun, innovative, safe way to promote community engagement, connection, and suicide awareness on the final day of National Suicide Prevention Week (Sept. 6-12, 2020). Bring your team of 4-6 family members or close friends to a mountaintop just 15 miles from Reno to see the city from a different perspective. Take a beautiful guided 1-mile hike with stops along the trail where #f14 Teen Ambassadors will lead you in activities designed to promote teamwork and build skills that will help you better navigate the up & downs of life. Finish to live music, food trucks, and a Community Advocate for Suicide Prevention Expo...enjoy the great outdoors with plenty of space for social distancing and more than enough fun for everyone!
SPONSORSHIPS STILL AVAILABLE!
